This test is the most important test in CML patients once the disease is detected and medication is started. This investigation shows whether the disease is being cured or not, if it is happening then how much it has been cured, whether the medicine needs to be changed and whether the medicine can be stopped or not. Therefore, it is very important to keep checking this from time to time. This test is very expensive (see in the rate list below), so most patients are not able to get this test done and medicines continue without testing and suddenly the disease increases and reaches the third stage when it is not possible to do anything.
